We are now fully open, having previously conducted the necessary COVID-19 Risk Assessment for our offices to ensure the safety of our staff and anyone making an appointment to visit us.

We are strictly observing the two metre social distancing guidance in the office and currently allowing a maximum of two persons from one household to be in the office in addition to staff members to ensure this.

An infrared hand gel dispenser is available for use on arrival at the office. There is also a strict cleaning regime in use.

The assessment also incorporated our new protocols for conducting viewings and market appraisal valuations to, again, ensure the safety of our staff and members of the public. We take our duty of care seriously – ensuring that all appointments are conducted safely and in accordance with Government guidelines is our highest priority.

If we are conducting a market appraisal valuation or a viewing, we will ask the owner and/or any occupiers to leave the property on our arrival.

When we are conducting a viewing, a maximum of two applicants from one household will be permitted and only then if wearing a mask or similar face covering and appropriate gloves. We cannot allow children under 12 to attend any appointments. If any of these matters are not observed, the viewing will not be able to proceed.

In all cases, all doors and cupboards will have been opened and no-one should touch door or other handles or any surfaces during an appointment. Any appointment will be for a maximum of 15 minutes and any discussions will thereafter be by telephone or email. We will clean all handles and surfaces with disinfectant spray before leaving the property.  

If anyone collects keys from our office, they will be disinfected before collection and after their return.

All we ask is for your patience during this time and to follow the rules which are therefore for everyone's benefit.
