LOCAL MISSION IMPOSSIBLE STAR TELLS ALL!

Q: What was it like working with the Mission Impossible team on “Rogue Nation”?

A: It has been a real pleasure to work with such a professional team on a big budget film. Tom Cruise is a lovely chap and makes time for everybody. It is also extremely impressive that Tom does all his own stunts. They are all real, which is something not many action heroes can boast.

Q: Is Tom Cruise really as great as reports suggest – both personally and professionally?

A: Tom is a great guy who looks after his team. He gives everybody the time of day. His dedication to his profession is nothing short of inspiring.

Q: James Bond or Ethan Hunt – given your experience with both characters, which one stands out for you?

A: I am a great fan of the original Bonds i.e Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore. I am not quite as keen on the new Bond, so as I write it's Ethan all the way. During shooting 'The World Is Not Enough' Pierce invited me to play a game of backgammon with him. I won the game by just one point, so now I've got it on my CV that "I've beaten James Bond at backgammon".

Q: Can you ever imagine playing “the good guy” - and would your face fit such a role?!

A: No, I'm not interested in playing the good guy. End of story. I'm a super villain, I kill the good guys.

Q: What’s your next project – and is it acting or directing?

A: I'm working on 3 feature films in pre-production. One is IRONGATE, a period drama set in 1852 in the shadows of the Crimean war. Then there is GIVE THEM WINGS, a biopic based on the life story of a severely disabled wheelchair bound Paul Hodgson plus I'm directing and playing the lead in an American Vampire movie BOGIEVILLE. I have many other lead 'villain roles' on the table which I am studying the scripts for now, including playing the main villain opposite Steven Seagal in a film entitled THE PERFECT WEAPON. Other than that I'm just an Ealing boy!
